It supports multiple platforms (which was a must for the company I joined), offers traditional unattended remote option (kicks out user while you work) and attended remote sessions (the ability to join the user on their desktop for help desk applications). The only issue we have moving forward will be to add support for mobile devices as our healthcare facility recently implemented iPads and currently we cannot remote to them with Splash unless we change our plan.Īs a former ConnectWise and Teamviewer user (when working for a MSP), I selected Splashtop Remote Support Basic for the company I joined after leaving the MSP. We have tried other solutions but in the end, it boiled down to price and critical features and Splashtop met our goals. Great tool with some great features for a corporate environment but again, more costly than Splashtop. TEAMVIEWER VS SPLASHTOP REMOTE FREEI have used TeamViewer but only in the free world to support parents/in-laws. Consequently we subscribe (legacy) to both the Business Access product and the SOS On-Demand product at an annual price point of about $400, I think. While most users are local to 5 buildings within a 1/2 mile radius of my office, there is need to support remote users on-demand as well. I am a 2-man IT department supporting approx. In fact, their pricing has stayed very consistent over time. I don't think their prices increased all that much when they repackaged everything. Fortunately they allowed legacy customers to stick with old plans.for now. Unfortunately, Splash also recently changed their pricing and packaging and as a 4+ yr user of their product, I have become very confused on what I need under their new billing model. We switched after 3 very happy years with LogMeIn after they got too pricey. If you'd like to learn more you can visit our website here. OP - I know you didn't have Control listed in your options, but if you change your mind we have affordable pricing with advanced features - all made for your own personal experience. Happy New Year everyone - it's great to see all of the ConnectWise Control support in the new year! How easy or frustrating is it to use, what is the customer service experience like, etc. I'm more interested in your experiences with the products as a whole. I've already gone through the feature lists of each product, so I'm not asking for an exhaustive list of features or anything like that. It's obvious that TeamViewer is the most expensive of the three, whereas Zoho Assist Unattended Support and Splashtop Remote Support seem to be pretty evenly matched in terms of pricing. We have approximately 35 endpoints that we would like to be able to remotely support. I'm comparing the base plans for each of these products.
